Juno may have preeclampsia.
Do you know what that means?
Possible early baby. As exciting as that may be, I am now very concerned for Juno's health and Ukulele's health. Juno's doc is keeping an eye on her and Ukulele, and she is going to have a blood test next week to verify preeclampsia (although is it "pre" if she is over 32 weeks now? I'll have to wiki that one....). If she is, a c-section will be scheduled.
Intermediary thinks we may have a Christmas baby. Juno had a check-up today, and Ukulele looks fantastic! She's "breathing" in womb, her measurements are great, she's developing as scheduled.... and I am just so damned excited I can barely focus!!!!!
The longer she "cooks" the better - but we are just so excited to meet her!!!

Oh Wow wow wow!!! I am torn between being excited for Ukelele's possible early arrival and being concerned for Juno. My guess is that her blood pressure is a bit elevated. If Juno actually had preecclampsia, prety sure they would deliver asap. And yes, it would still be "pre" no matter how late in pregnancy. Eclampsia is a very very bad thing that her doctors will make sure she avoids.
Please keep us posted! Of course you can't focus! How exciting!!!

Wow! A christmas baby! Hope this gets sorted good for both Juno and you! All the best!
Wow! Holding thumbs for you...
Hope everything works out and everyone is perfectly healthy!
Mo,
Thanks for your response. I wish I knew more about the medical aspect of what is going on right now. Does it make sense that the doctor would want to do a blood test on her at this point in relation to possible preeclampsia? Wouldn't a urine test confirm any suspicion?

Whoa. That's uber exciting!! A Christmas baby?? That seems minutes away. :) I've had several girlfriends with pre-e and it's not fun. I'm sure the docs are keeping a close eye on Juno and Ukulele!
I hope that Juno and Ukulele can hold out at least a little while longer.
In the meantime, Tag! You're it!
